NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting of the City of Manchester Zoning Board of Appeals will be held at the Manchester City Offices located at 912 City Road, Manchester, MI 48158 on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. During this meeting the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on the following matter:
Variance for Variance for N. Washington Street Parcel (Parcel Number 16-16-02-230-005)
for Scott Ringlein on Sec. 151.042 (C) (2) (a) to allow for a house to be built
on a parcel of land that does not meet the minimum road frontage and / or
direct access to a public street which has been accepted for maintenance by
the City.
Persons or their duly appointed representative having interest in said applications shall be there and then be heard at the above described meetings or adjournment thereof relative to any matters that should come before the Zoning Board of Appeals. Variance for 311 E. Main Street on Sec. 151.068 (B) (2) (a) to allow for the placement of an accessory structure to be located in a location that is not in the rear of the property.
Variance for 311 E. Main Street on Sec. 151.068 (B) (2) (e) to allow for the placement of an accessory structure to be closer than 10 feet to a property line.
Persons or their duly appointed representative having interest in said applications shall be there and then be heard at the above described meetings or adjournment thereof relative to any matters that should come before the Zoning Board of Appeals. NOTICE OF FILING DEADLINE FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY,
NOVEMBER 4, 2025 FOR THE CITY OF MANCHESTER
To the qualified electors of the City of Manchester, Washtenaw County, Michigan:
In accordance with City Charter Section 4.6, notice is hereby given that the filing deadline
for candidates to be included on the November 4, 2025, General Election Ballot is
Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
The following City offices will be included on the ballot:
THREE (3) CITY COUNCILMEMBERS FOR A TERM STARTING NOVEMBER 2025
ENDING NOVEMBER 2029
ONE (1) CITY COUNCILMEMBER FOR A PARTIAL TERM STARTING NOVEMBER
2025 ENDING NOVEMBER 2027
ONE (1) MAYOR FOR A TERM STARTING NOVEMBER 2025 ENDING NOVEMBER
2029
The qualifications for these offices are as follows:
(1) A candidate must be a registered elector residing within the boundaries of the
City of Manchester for a minimum of one year prior to the date of filing
nominations and a registered voter of the City of Manchester by the last day
for filing nominations; and
(2) Submit an Affidavit of Identity in duplicate and City/Township Nonpartisan
Nominating Petition(s) bearing the signatures of a minimum of 15 qualified
electors residing within the boundaries of the City of Manchester.
All petitions and forms may be obtained by appointment at the City of Manchester Offices,
912 City Road, Manchester, MI 48158; 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
