Commissions

The City Council appoints a five-member Planning Commission and a seven-member Parks Commission. These Commissioners serve staggered, three-year terms. The City Council also appoints various individuals to serve as representatives to other City and community agencies.

With the renewed interest in the City’s downtown, the Downtown Development Authority was formed in 2004. The nine member board serves staggered four-year terms.
